Jax {6 months}

I think this is the month I have dreaded the most. 6 months. half a year. halfway to 1. How is it possible that it has been 6 whole months since I brought home my squishy, loving, baby boy. This little boy has opened my heart to a world I didn't know existed. I love that he will never know a time that his brother and sister did not exist in our lives. To him they have always been a Mullins' and they have always been his bubby and sissy. The bond he already has with them makes my heart soar. I love they way his face lights up when they walk in the room and the way Aubri can make him SO happy.

He seems SO big to me this month! He is sitting up on his own and loves it. He is so much happier now that he has a little independence. We also started solids. So far he has had Avocado, sweet potatoes {which made him break out} and green beans. He attacks the spoon like he is a piranha.

I haven't had a chance to take his normal monthly photos so I'm just going to include these from when I took a few pictures of the kids the other day.

Jax, 5 Months

So I totally skipped month 4. Way to go me! BUT I did take his month 5 pictures AND I did my very first video! It's only a grand total of 44 seconds but I'm pretty proud of my first video attempt!

Month 4 and month 5 have been filled with SO much cuteness! He loves playing with his toys. He rolls over like a champ and he is really finding his voice. He just started squealing really loud the other day!

He is also teething so his fingers are constantly in his mouth! Nothing better than sticky baby hands!

He can also put his own binky in his mouth... it tends to land upside down a alot.

Jax {3 month new}

I am late posting this month but I did actually take these pictures on his 3 month birthday!
I am truly astounded at the changes I see in him everyday. How are we already at three months old!? Month three has brought so many changes! I know I said that last month but its so true! I feel like that is how it is going to be from now on out. It is happening so fast! I feel like just yesterday this perfect little man was born and my life took on a whole new role. Now he is laughing, trying his best to sit up. It is all so crazy! I am loving each and every new stage that is happening. Part of me feels so sad that he is growing up so fast and the other part can't wait to see the new things he is doing!

Jax {2 months}

I made it back for month two{Let's ignore the fact that I'm a few days late}! I can't believe all the changes this past month has brought. I thought I wanted him to stay in that small infant stage forever but everyday I can't wait to see what new things he is going to do!

24 inches this month! {That is if I am measuring him correctly ;)}

Love that little grin. It happens more and more everyday!

So far his eyes are staying a blueish/greenish! Everybody said they would turn brown like his daddy.

He LOVES tummy time! He is getting so good at holding his head up. Big strong man.

Don't we all wish we could rock the back wrinkles like that!

Jax {1 month}

7 months ago my life changed overnight. One night Adam and I were sitting on the couch eating leftover Japanese food and watching a movie and the next day we were parents to a three and four year old. We began the wild and crazy journey of being foster parents. I immediately fell into the role of being a mom. 6 months later I fell into the role of being a birth mom as our own little Jaxon Christopher Mullins joined our already crazy household. Our new little guy has brought more love and joy {along with some sleepless nights!} into our house than I ever thought possible. Who knew that such a little person could change your life so much. This last month has been one of the most challenge months of my life but more than that one of the most amazing months of my life. I am so in love.
